SRA Imagine It! is a comprehensive Reading and Language Arts program that will teach your children to read, write, and think independently!

Tips for Parents

"My daughter and I love to do the finger play for "5 Little Monkeys". It helps her with rhythm and rhyming. It goes like this: 5 Little Monkeys jumping on the bed. (bounce 5 fingers on the palm of the other hand) One fell off and bumped his head. (touch head) Mam called the doctor, and the doctor said, (pretent to talk on the phone) "That's what you get for jumping on the bed!" (shake finger) 4 little monkeys...(and so on with motions). 3 little monkeys...(and so on with motions). 2 little monkeys...(and so on with motions). 1 little monkey jumping on the bed. (motions) he fell off and bumped his head. Mama called the doctor, and the doctor said, "No more monkeys jumping on the bed!""
